Kim Bridgland & I were approached to develop a concept for Kip McGrath Education Centre fitouts to be rolled out across all their locations. Kip McGrath Education Centres provide after school childhood education and tutoring services. The aim was to create an exciting place for children to learn in a creative atmosphere whilst providing the functional requirements of the design’s brief. The ‘ribbon’ feature is used as a metaphor for the continuing growth of a child’s knowledge & development.

All componants are designed to be prefabricated off site and efficiently constructed on site with minimal time & effort. They are designed to not require excessive fixings or demolition of the leased spaces and are self-supporting.

Programs Used: Graphisoft ArchiCAD and Adobe Photoshop
